remixed! {paisley print shirt}

Thursday I visited my local thrift store and got all sorts of goodies – jeans, shirts, dresses, even a silver bowl for my jewelry. One of my favorite finds was this paisley print shirt. Though it was two sizes too big for me (1x), I saw potential…and the fact that it was 1/2 price day made it even better – it was only $2.00! I know what you’re thinking (maybe)…”That shirt is ugly!” lol. Well, that is ok because you don’t have to wear it haha! :-)

I took some shots of it so you can see the differences in how it started and what I did. I had to take it in on the sides and the sleeves, then I made shoulder cutouts. It was about a 2 hour project from start to finish…though I know it would have been faster if I knew how to use my sewing machine rather than doing it all by hand *sigh*. I love it, but what do you think??

**I added a belt and skirt so that you could see what it would look like as an outfit.
