show me your style! {anna}

Hi again! This week our guest is Anna from Life In Magazines. Her blog features lots of cool looks to help you if ever you wonder what a celeb is wearing…or if you just are having a hard time putting together an outfit. She is very thorough with her posts – making sure to link all of the info on where you can find each item…love! :-)

How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as classic, simple, preppy, but feminine.
What influences you?
So many different things influence me, well basically everything influences me. Whether it is a room I see in a magazine that I loved the colors of, runway, or street style; I grab inspiration from everything. The one item, If I had to choose that influences me in day-to-day wear is street style.
If you could bring back one item/trend, what would it be?
That is a hard one, I honestly don’t know. I love Mad Men 60′s style.
What is one fashion trend/style that you like but are afraid to try?
Bright colored jeans, I can’t bring myself to buy them, probably because my sister in 7th grade, used to wear them all the time. She was crazy and weird during that time and I think I subconsciously think I am going to act like that if I wear them.

Do you ever feel the need to look/dress a certain way to be more “socially” acceptable?
Of course, all the time, I think we all should. Not in a social pressure “clique” kind of way but you should know when it is acceptable to wear heels or converse with a dress of when to wear jeans or a skirt to dinner. Plus, I feel if people judge you, in a way, it builds up your confidence. It takes a while, but I think I/we will all get there.
Head over and check her out…you won’t be disappointed! :-)
